This touched me and I wanted to share Rick & Dick’s messages with you.
I hope you find this as inspirational as I do; I saw it today and I thought that you might be inspired too.
I can’t think of a better message for us to reflect on at this time than those modelled by Rick and Dick in this video.

I was feeling jaded until I watched this. I wept from the start. It has reminded me of the message. We CAN. Thank you.

I recently saw a fuller version of this same story-the close bond between the father and the son, and how the father had included the son in his activities. If I am not mistaken, it was the son who spurred the father on to try the triathlon with him. What a tremendous feat for both of them. It puts us to shame to see this father’s great sacrifice for his son, his patience and his total selflessness, when we grumble and complain over life’s little inconveniences. Yes, it is inspiring to witness such love, perhaps not unlike God’s for us.

Absolutely awesome!! What an inspiration and it truly motivated me to continue helping my brother who has brain tumour and is trying his level best to survive through not just the medical condition but also a broken marriage. It made my heart swell up yesterday when he said to me”I don’t know where I would be if you did not help me”.
ThISmovie is really amazing…a mind over matter situation!!
GOD BLESS!!

This video sure makes our problems seem small. I think we all need encouragement. This has been an encouragement to me, so I would like to return the favor to Team Hoyt. Dick & Rick: Don’t give up - you’ve got a long way to go to the finish line and we’re all routing (sp) for you. You are indeed inspirational!

Wow, I was feeling very sad when I watched this, now, although I am weeping, my thoughts are not about myself, but about real heroes. You are now both My Heroes. Thank you and God Bless. x

This really moved me to tears. I have a friend who is in the same situation and we see the dad jogging around the neighborhood with his son who absolutely loves it. I feel humbled when with them but to be around this family is an inspiration. As with Rick & Dick they honour everything that is good about this world, love, caring, sharing, respect, togetherness, family and the fact that communication has no boundaries. Thank you for sharing this with us.
