Do you struggle to get motivated and follow through on what you think you should get done?
Have you ever wondered why that might be?
If you’re sick of trying to figure this out logically, then maybe it’s time to consider another approach as you recognise that most of your decisions on what you’re going to do are not logical!
The truth is whether you recognise it or not yet, you tend to make decisions at an emotional unconscious level and then switch on the logic to try and convince yourself you made a good decision.

Ok so you put things off and you’d love to be organised but if that’s always been a struggle then you’ll be interested in the rest of this article.
You see, we seem to have fallen into the trap of believing that if you want to get your life in order you have to be super organised, set clear goals and work a rigid plan over time to achieve these goals.

We live in a world of instant gratification!
• We turn on a switch and we get light.
• We click a switch and we have heat to cook our food.
• We go to the supermarket and the fruit is always in season
• We want fresh water to drink we just have to turn on a tap.
• Friends on the other side of the world are only a call away!
This has brought huge benefits to everyday life and it’s understandable that we want other areas of our lives to be just as easy and quick.
There is a downside to this instant fix!

Have you ever noticed how sayings and quotes get bounced around and just seem to become accepted as true?
Today, I want to talk about one of the guiding principles of the personal development, NLP and coaching fields. You’ve probably heard it in many forms and today I’m tired of hearing speakers, trainers and coaches reciting it like it were the word of God.
